Adriatica di Navigazione has been providing ferry service to ports in Italy, Albania, and Croatia for more than sixty years. Some of the more popular routes include services from the Tremiti Islands to various sites on the mainland. Routes include Tremiti to: Vasto, Manfredonia, Vieste, Ortona and Termoli.

Additionally, the ferry company also services ferry lines from Ancona in Italy to Split in Croatia. This route maintains two crossings each week in the winter months, and then increases to four per week in the peak summer months, when the number of holiday travellers increases significantly.

The sailing from Ancona to Split has a duration of about 10 hours, 30 minutes. Adriatica di Navigazione also runs a crossing from Ancona ferry port to Bar in former Yugoslavia. This crossing is offered once a week as it takes a full day to reach the opposite ferry port, roughly 22 hours, 30 minutes.

Adriatica’s sailing from Ancona in Italy to Durres in Albania also runs on a once a week basis during months that are generally slow for tourism, however in peak holiday months the ferry crossing increases to two or three crossings in a week. This trip lasts a total of 21 hours provided that weather permits for smooth sailing.

The main vessel utilised by Adriatica for these two crossings, Ancona to Split and Ancona to Durres, is the Sansovino. This large and luxurious ship can accommodate up to 1,100 passengers with an available 158 cabins located on the ferry.

Additionally, Adriatica owns the Egitto Express which, at a slightly smaller size, can accommodate 830 passengers and 150 vehicles. The Palladio, another vessel in Adriatica’s fleet, accommodates 1,100 passengers as well. Another popular ferry owned by the company is the Espresso Venezia which supports an additional 953 passengers.
