Ferry services between Barcelona and Ibiza are provided by the Balearia, Iscomar and Acciona Trasmediterranea ferry companies. Balearia offers daily services with the other two companies offering crossings between Barcelona and Ibiza several times a week. Winter schedules are not as frequent but still sail often.

The cultural city of Barcelona is located on Spain’s Iberian Peninsular. Ibiza is one of the Spanish Balearic islands. Ferries from Barcelona to Ibiza arrive at the port in Ibiza Town, known as Vila d’Eivissa in Catalan, which is on the south-east coast of the island of Ibiza. As ferry passengers approach Ibiza Town they are rewarded with stunning views of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Dalt Vila, Renaissance city walls and a maze of narrow alleys.

Barcelona’s Port Vell ferries are easily reached from almost anywhere in mainland Spain. Barcelona features a state-of-the-art public transport system. Barcelona has a good road system which features a ring road with clearly signposted access roads to Port Vell. Upon disembarking in Ibiza there are roads and public transport links to most other regions of the island.
