Color Line Ferries provide ferry crossings between Denmark, Norway, Germany and Sweden. The routes are from Oslo to Kiel; Oslo to Hirsthals; Kristiansand to Hirtshals; Sandefjord to Stromstad and Larvik to Fredrikshavn.
Color Line Ferries has 8 vessels. The largest vessel is the M/S Color Festival which can carry 330 vehicles and up to 2000 passengers. The ferry offers a choice of on board dining, a duty free shop and a conference room. This ferry is used for the daily service between Oslo and Hirsthals and takes approximately 12 hours, 30 minutes.
M/S Prinsesse Ragnhild and M/S Kronprins Harald are used on the daily sailings between Oslo to Kiel. The journey time between the two ports takes around 20 hours. These ferries can accommodate up to 700 vehicles and 1432 passengers. Onboard there are a number of dining options and shops. Cabins are available.
There are two departures daily between Kristiansand and Hirtshals. The journey time is 5 hours, 45 minutes and takes place on board M/S Christian IV. This ferry can carry 530 vehicles and as many as 1860 passengers. There is a good selection of duty free shops on board and a choice of restaurants and bars.
There are five crossings a day between Sandefjord and Stromstad. The journey time is only 2 hours, 30 minutes. For this crossing, travel takes place onboard either M/S Color Viking or M/S Bohus. M/S Color Viking is the larger vessel of the two but both ferries offer play areas for children and a choice of restaurants and bars.
Between Larvik to Frederikshavn, there are two crossings per day. The journey time takes 5 hours, 15 minutes. Onboard the M/S Peter Wessel, there are over 500 cabins, a duty free shop and a choice of bars and restaurants. For those travelling on business, there is a fully-equipped conference room. M/S Silvia Ana can carry 1237 passengers and up to 200 vehicles. It offers many dining facilities and a child’s play area.
