Condor Ferries, founded in 1964, provides regular ferry services between England, France and the Channel Islands. The ferries are extremely well maintained and comfortable. The car ferries Vitesse and the Condor Express provides a fast service between the Channel Islands, the UK and France. There is space on board to accommodate up to 750 passengers and 185 vehicles. Facilities onboard include a passenger lounge, a play area for children, a café serving light refreshments and a duty free shop.
The Condor 10 car ferry is a fast ferry that departs from the Channel Islands to St. Malo. Onboard the Condor 10 there is an air-conditioned passenger lounge, duty-free shop, a snack bar, and a small Club Class area.
The Commodore Clipper is a conventional ferry that has been designed to travel in all weather conditions throughout the year. This vessel sails everyday between the Channel Islands and Portsmouth and can carry up to 300 passengers and more than 100 cars. On board you will find en-suite cabins, comfortable reclining seats, a bar, a duty-free shop and a play area for young children.
Between February to December there are ferry sailings from Weymouth to St Malo. The journey time takes around 5 hours, 45 minutes. You can also sail to the Channel Islands from Weymouth. The ferry crossing to Guernsey takes about 2 hours, 15 minutes and to Jersey about 3 hours, 35 minutes.
Condor Ferries also have ferry crossings from Jersey and Guernsey to France: there are daily crossings to St Malo from Guernsey which take about 3 hours, 45 mins, and crossings over to Jersey which take just over 2 hours.
There are daily ferry crossings from Poole to St.# Malo. The journey time is around 4 hours, 30 minutes. During the summer months of May to September, there are ferry sailings from Poole to Cherbourg, which takes about 4 hours. There are also ferries to Jersey and Guernsey from Poole. The travel time to Guernsey takes 2 hours, 30 minutes and about 3 hours 30 minutes to Jersey. There are also ferries to Guernsey from Portsmouth six times a week, with onward connections to Jersey. Between May and September, there is a once a week crossing from Portsmouth to Cherbourg which take about 5 hours.
