Denia is a quiet port city in Spain, 7kms north of Javea. The city lies next to the impressive Montego Mountain, home to a large and popular castle which can be seen as you enter the ferry port. Montego mountain is quite steep and offers fantastic views of Spanish countryside and even some of the nearby islands on a clear day. This is just one example of several places of interest to tourists in the area. But Denia is not merely a tourist resort. It is also an centre for industry, with toy products and furniture being made here and exported every day.
With white sandy beaches on both sides of the ferry port, those who come here for the lovely hot sunshine which Spain can offer won’t have to travel too far for some sun bathing. These beaches can be fairly crowded during the peek months but even so, you will find the atmosphere to be relaxed and the beaches are generally clean, tidy and safe.
You can hop on a ferry at denia and travel to San Antonio, Ibiza.
