DFDS Seaways provide ferry crossings from the UK to Denmark, Holland and Sweden with onward connections from Denmark to Norway. The current routes are Newcastle to Amsterdam, Harwich to Esbjerg and Copenhagen to Oslo.
The Newcastle to Amsterdam is a daily overnight service onboard either the M/S King of Scandinavia or the sister ship M/S Princess of Norway. The ferries can accommodate up to 1500 people. Onboard you will find a wide choice of dining options, bars, and duty free shops. There is a casino on board the M/S King of Scandinavia and a regular dance troupe on board the M/S Princess of Norway.
There are three ferry crossings per week from Harwich Essex, in South East England to Esbjerg in Denmark. The journey time takes about 18 hours on board the M/S Dana Sirena, the newest ferry in DFDS Seaways fleet. The ship can take up to 600 passengers, it has a bar and two restaurants. All cabins onboard are en-suite and have their own TV.
There is a daily overnight service between Copenhagen, Denmark and Oslo, Norway. The journey time takes 16 hours, 15 mins departing at 5pm in both cities and arriving early the following morning. Travel takes place onboard the M/S Pearl of Scandinavia and the M/S Crown of Scandinavia. These two ferries are the largest and can accommodate up to 2000 people. Onboard both ferries, there are a good selection of eateries, bars and entertainment venues.
There are a choice of cabins onboard DFDS Seaways ferries. The Standard Seaways cabins have en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds and are fully air-conditioned. There is a choice of sea view or inside cabins. For those looking for a bit more comfort, it is possible to upgrade to a Commodore Class Cabin, these cabins are more spacious, include breakfast and steward service.
