Disney’s Sequoia Lodge is a good hotel where economy might be the prime factor. The location inside the Disney Village is excellent, so it’s an easy walk to the attractions. In the summer heat, some find the shuttle bus useful. Travel to Disneyland from the UK is very straightforward whichever mode of transport is used.
Air travel is probably the quickest, depending on the departure airport. The best route is to Paris Orly where shuttle buses take passengers directly to Disneyland. Rail services are also very good with a direct Eurostar train from London to Disneyland. The sea journey is a bit more involved with a ferry from Dover to Calais and then the local train to Marne de Vallee Chessy.
Disney’s Sequoia Hotel has a theme of American national parks, so guests can expect to stay in rooms where wood is featured strongly and there is an atmosphere of the Old West. The rooms feature air conditioning, a full sized bath tub, TV with international channels, and mini bar. There are larger sized suites available are very large, fully furnished rooms and lounges. Some of rooms have a lake view, others a view over the pine trees.
Being situated in the Disney Village is a great advantage as there is only a short walk to all the attractions of the Magic Kingdom. Disney’s Sequoia Hotel restaurants serve buffet style meals in The Hunters Grill or for a few drinks there is the Redwood Lodge, complete with log fire and big armchairs. Children can enjoy the games room, under parental supervision, and outside there is another play area for the kids.
