Operating about 18 crossings on a daily basis between the UK and the Republic of Ireland, Dublin port is the main dock for passenger ferry service in the country. Due to the increase in passenger numbers, over €130 million has been spent on upgrading the port terminal into one with high quality facilities and unsurpassed customer satisfaction.
Mostyn, located in northern Wales, is only 50kms from Chester, and is easily accessible from the M56 motorway. The crossing between Mostyn and Dublin is provided by several ferry companies, with one being P&O Irish Sea Ferries. A number of P&O vessels carry passengers along the route. The European Ambassador takes about 6 hours to complete the journey, but the European Envoy is more conventional, taking about 7 hours, 30 minutes.

Another ferry company operating the Dublin to Mostyn route is Stena Line. They are one of the most reputable sea transport operators in Europe. Handling 17 routes that stretch from the United Kingdom to Scandinavia, Stena Line has quite an extensive route network.
The Stena Line ferries are fully equipped with various entertaining facilities to keep passengers comfortable and relaxed while onboard. Some of these include restaurants, bars and lounges, children’s playroom and activities, and spacious cabins with amenities and private restrooms.
The Mostyn ferry port in the United Kingdom remains relatively busy throughout the year, being one of the most important connections between the Irish and British isles, yet it is unfortunately not well known. Nevertheless, a recent refurbishment through a £3.5 million P&O investment has upgraded the ferry port terminal facilities.
