Dunkirk Port is situated on the north coast of France and offers regular ferry crossings to Dover on England’s south coast. From Dunkirk there are excellent onward road and rail links into France and the rest of Europe.
By high speed train, Brussels is only an hour away from Dunkirk Port and Paris just 1 hour, 30 minutes away. There are regular buses departing from Dunkirk with Eurolines bus company that travel to many destinations in France and throughout Europe.

Norfolkline Ferries sail between Dunkirk and Dover up to 12 times per day from Monday to Friday and sail 11 times a day at weekends. The journey time between the UK and France is around two hours. The ferry service is purely a car ferry service and does not cater for either foot passenger or large tour groups. The ferry from Dunkirk has a restaurant, a TV and video lounge, a bar, exchange facilities, and a shop selling alcohol, perfumes and other goods.
In the Norfolkline Terminal at Dunkirk Port, there is a comfortable departure lounge to relax in before boarding the ferry. Refreshments and snacks are available in the lounge. There is also a small shop where you can purchase wines and spirits.
Dunkirk Port caters for disabled passengers. There is easy access for wheelchair users into the terminal building and on board the ferry. Passengers requiring special assistance for their journey should advise the ferry company in advance. Parking spaces for the disabled are provided in the short term and long term car park at the port.
