Fjord Line Ferries provide a ferry service between the UK and the west coast of Norway. There are twice weekly departures from Newcastle to Bergen, Haugesand and Stavanger and a daily service between Bergen and Haugesand, Stavanger and Haugesand and Stavanger and Hanstholm. There are also ferries three times a week between Bergen to Hirtshals in Denmark and four times a week between Stavanger and Hirtshals.
Fjord Line’s luxury new ferry the Fjord Norway sails between the UK and Norway. There is a wide range of cabins on board to suit all budgets from a twin bedded inside cabin to a Fjord Class Suite complete with double bed and TV. All cabins are ensuite.
There are seven restaurants on board M/S Fjord Norway offering a range of food from buffet style, a gourmet meal or just a light meal. The restaurants are located next to each other on deck in ‘Plaza Street.’ There is also a duty free shop on board selling a range of goods from perfumes and aftershaves, alcohol and toys and electrical goods. There is a play area for children.
There is also a wide range of entertainment available onboard the Fjord Norway. The ferry has a cinema, a casino, a piano bar and a live band play each night in the Nautilus Bar. The Nautilus Bar has a dance floor and two bars. There is also a fun Australian bar which never closes.
The M/S Bergensfjord car ferry sails between Norway and Denmark. The ferry has 207 cabins and can accommodate up to 840 passengers. There are a choice of dining options on board, from a buffet style restaurant, an Italian restaurant, a bistro serving light meals and sandwiches and a pub. There is also a small duty free shop and a children’s club is available during the school holidays.
