The only means of travel between Guernsey and Weymouth is by air or sea. There are a number of ferries plying the route between to two ports and a trip on these makes for a very pleasant and entertaining journey.

The Condor Express and Condor Vitesse, the two ferries, make the voyage of 2 hours, 10 minutes andboth accommodate up to 750 passengers and 185 vehicles. Other amenities provided on both ferries include large air-conditioned lounges, comfortable reclining seats, a cafeteria, a duty free shop, a bar on the upper deck, and a children’s television room.
Passengers aboard these two ferries come ashore at St Peter Port, Guernsey’s pictorial and friendly capital brimming with duty free boutiques and cosy restaurants. Other Guernsey attractions worth visiting are 25 scenic unspoiled beaches, six picturesque bike routes, and the Little Chapel, an unusual building decorated with seashells, small stones, and bright china pieces.
All ferry passengers disembark at one of the UK’s most popular seaside destinations. Weymouth is one of the best places to enjoy a typical English beach holiday thanks to its long beaches of golden sand and shallow waters. Trampolines, a merry go round, the Weymouth Museum, and a sea life park are among the town’s other attractions. Nearby Portland is home to Trinity House Lighthouse and the Portland Museum. One of the museum’s cottages inspired writer Thomas Hardy’s novel The Well Beloved.
