Irish Ferries provide a number of crossings in Ireland from various ferry ports. Available routes include Dublin to Holyhead; Rosslare to Pembroke, Rosslare to Cherbourg, and Rosslare to Roscoff.

Sailings from Dublin to Holyhead are completed onboard the Dublin Swift. The crossing takes approximately 1 hour, 49 minutes and sailings are offered up to five times a day. An additional option from Dublin to Holyhead is onboard the Ulysses cruise ferry; however this ferry takes 3 hours, 15 minutes to make the same crossing. The Ulysses also sails five times per day.

The Ulysses cruise ferry is a luxury vessel with bistro style restaurants, and several other dining options including an onboard Burger King for passengers travelling with children. The ship also has an extensive shopping outlet section, known as the Grafton Shopping Arcade.

The Dublin Swift is also outfitting with adequate onboard facilities. Onboard passengers will find an excellent Irish restaurant as well as a bar. Additionally the boat offers currency exchange, a TV lounge, outdoor deck seating, and several onboard shopping outlets.

From the port of Rosslare, the ferry crossing to Pembroke takes 3 hours, 45 minutes. and is offered twice a day. Crossings from Rosslare to Cherbourg take 19 hours, 30 minutes and crossings from Rosslare to Roscoff take 17 hours. Both ferries sail once a week.

The Normany, an additional Irish Ferries boat, runs crossings from Ireland to France, and like all other Irish Ferries is modern and offers a wide variety of facilities. The vessel includes four different types of restaurants, an onboard movie theatre, and a large shopping area with various shops.

Schedules for Irish Ferries ferry services can be viewed online. Reservations can be made in advance, and this is particularly advisable in peak holiday times, or if boarding with a vehicle. Tickets can be purchased online or by visitingg the port of departure.
