Jersey is an island situated amongst The Channel Islands in the English Channel. It’s the busiest of the Channel Islands and has several towns, the largest of which is St Helier. This is where you will find the ferry port which serves the whole island.

Jersey is a big hit with tourists owing to its pleasant mix of French and English traditions, as well as its genial atmosphere. Tourist attractions on the island include the well known Jersey zoo and theirs plenty of camping opportunities on the island.

You may travel to France from Jersey in just three hours, using a ferry service provided by Condor Ferries. This ferry service arrives at St Malo and ferries depart at least once a day during summertime.

An alternative Jersey to St Malo service is offered by Emeraude Lines and these ferries also take about three hours to complete the crossing. Departures with this operator also leave everyday.

If you are hungry during the trip you will be able to purchase food and drink from the ferry snack bar on route. Reading material can be very helpful to avoid boredom on the route .

When you arrive at St Malo port, you will be in a good location to reach some interesting parts of France. If you haven’t changed up some money so far (Jersey uses English sterling) you will have an opportunity at the St. Malo port terminal. Other facilities here include various places to eat, selling lovely French food and several shops including souvenir shops. There are also telephones on hand, internet access, baby changing facilities and tourist information.
