The ferry company, Viking Line, operates a route between the two Finnish ports, Mariehamn and Turku. Viking Line has been in business since 1959, serving Finland, Estonia and Sweden.
The Mariehamn to Turku route, is part of the Stockholm to Mariehamn to Turku route, and the Mariehamn – Turku. The journey time is approximately 5 hours, 30 minutes. Ferries run this route twice daily, at 14:45 and 03.30. There are two ferries used on this route; the M/S Amorella and the M/S Isabella.
Cabins are available for the night passages, with varying numbers of berths. There are also suite rooms if you wish to have a more luxurious trip. There are a number of facilities for all of your needs onboard the ferries, including lounge areas, facilities for babies, facilities for the disabled, as well as a number of places to eat onboard, including the Viking Line special Scandinavian buffet.
Also on board, are the Viking Line Ferry’s speciality; saunas. Each sauna area has various styles of sauna room, pools (including special children’s pool), a bar, and massage facilities. Included in the sauna price is a towel, soap and shampoo, and each session is one and a half hour long.
Entertainment onboard the ferry includes the usual gaming machines, casino, bars, playrooms, and Viking Line’s round the clock live music. Entertainers from Finland, as well as global entertainers, perform throughout the day and night. If the mood takes you, you can dance at any time, while enjoying Viking Line’s musicians.
Conference facilities can be reserved for use on board the ferry from Mariehamn to Turku, as well as kennels for any animals brought on board. ATM machines and Bureau de Change are available for your use, and toilets are placed at convenient locations around the ferry.
