Norfolk Line ferries provides a number of services around the UK and Europe with the most popular route being from Dover to Dunkerque in France; however foot passengers are not allowed on board this trip. This reduces the queues at bars and restaurants and keeps the ships gangways free.
There are nine sailings per day on this route and each trip takes around two hours. It should be noted however, that on weekends the number of crossings is reduced to seven per day.
In recent years, Norfolk Line has expanded its services to include two Irish Sea crossings as well as a route from Scotland to Belgium. The Irish Sea sailings are between Liverpool and Dublin and Liverpool and Belfast. Both crossings take around eight hours and day and night sailings are offered daily, in both directions. Norfolk Line’s final service runs between Rosyth, near Aberdeen, Scotland and Zeebrugge, Belgium. Norfolk Line ferries offer three departures from each port and the journey takes 21 hours.
On all of Norfolk Line’s vessels you will find top quality facilities including; a restaurants, bar, spacious lounge areas, satellite TV and video lounge, bureau de change, shops and on the longer journeys, cabins where passengers can sleep. There is good wheelchair access onboard all the ships and staff will be willing to help out if assistance is needed.
All of the ports that Norfolk Line operates out of are large ports and have top notch passenger terminals with the highest facilities. You can expect to find everything you need including, restaurants, bars, shops, ATM machines, bureau de changes, toilets and public telephones. Disabled travelers are also well catered for with disabled toilets, lifts and good wheelchair access all-round.
