P&O Irish Sea provide a number of sailings between Ireland and the UK onboard a wide range of vessels of high quality, reliability and efficiency.
A daily sailing between Larne and Troon onboard the Superstar Express takes just 1 hour, 40 minutes. Larne is also connected to Cairnryan, Scotland, onboard the same boat which takes just an hour. Alternatively two other vessels, The European Highlander and the European Causeway make the trip in around I hour, 30 minutes. In summer months there are up to nine daily sailings with the number reducing for the winter.
A crossing between Larne and Fleetwood operates twice daily and takes about eight hours. There is no lift on board these ferries and not great access so they may not be suitable for disabled travelers. Other onboard facilities include a lounge and dining area, bar, TV screens and seating areas.
Dublin is connected to Liverpool with early morning and overnight crossings available daily, with journeys taking seven and a half hours. The vessels used on this crossing are comfortable, with two lounges, two restaurants, a bar as well as en-suite cabins. Additionally, all meals are included in the price of the ticket.
Dublin is also connected to Mostyn, Wales with vessels departing from The Point theatre. Onboard the European Ambassador, you will arrive in Mostyn in six hours, whilst the European Envoy will do it in seven and a half hours.
P&O Irish Sea also offer ferries to Cherbourg in France. When sailing from Dublin, the journey will take you 18 hours, onboard the luxury superferry the European Embassador. Alternatively three weekly sailings are available from Rosslare on the southeast coast of Ireland to Cherbourg. This journey takes 19 hours onboard the European Diplomat which offers free meals at it’s restaurant and a wide range of accommodation.
