Polferries is Poland’s largest ferry operator and runs daily sailings between Poland and Scandinavia.
The company offers routes between Poland and Sweden and Denmark. Daily sailings between Swinoujscie and Ystad in Sweden are available onboard the Wawel with journeys taking around 9 hours, 30 minutes. Additionally there are three weekly sailings between Gdansk and Nynäshamn in Sweden onboard the Scandinavia, with journeys taking 18 hours, 30 minutes.
For passengers wishing to travel to Denmark, there are five weekly crossings between Swinoujscie and Copenhagen which will take about 10 hours, 30 minutes. Alternatively there is one sailing per week from Swinoujscie to Ronne onboard the M/F Pomerania, reaching its destination in six hours.
The Pomerania is a large vessel with a passenger capacity of 1,000 and can also hold 277 cars. Onboard facilities are excellent with pleasant lounge areas, and a selection of bars and restaurants for passengers to enjoy.
The Scandanavia is an even larger vessel with the capacity to hold 1,800 passengers and 500 cars over three decks. Onboard facilities are excellent with a number of restaurants and cafeterias, a bar, cinema, shops and a conference room. There is also a children’s play area conveniently located near one of the ships lounge areas.
The Wawel holds up to 1,000 passengers and onboard facilities include bars, shops, restaurants, a café, cinema and a conference room. There are also 480 modern cabins onboard, complete with there own WC.
All of Polferries fleet caters to disabled travelers with good wheelchair access, lifts and disabled toilets. There are also specially designed cabins to take wheelchair users. Staff will assist with boarding and any other needs of travelers who require assistance.
Bookings can be made either online at their website or by telephone. Bookings must be made no later than 24 hours prior to departure.
