Poseidon Lines offers services from Greece to both Cyprus and Israel onboard one of its three ferries.
The Olympia leaves from Pireaus every Monday with its final destination being Haifa, Israel. On route the ferry touches down at Rhodes, Limassol, and finally Haifa, taking a total time of 73 hours to reach the final destination in Israel.
The Olympia is a monster of a ship, able to accommodate 1,500 passengers as well as 250 cars. Onboard facilities include a selection of restaurants, a café car, a snack bar, disco, live music, video gaming machines, slot machines, and duty-free shopping. There are smoking areas available onboard and all areas of the ship are air-conditioned. There are also cabins onboard with their own WC.
Poseidon Lines also operate two other ships on this route, The Sea Symphony and the Sea Serenade. Her passenger capacity is 250 and can also take 150 cars. Onboard facilities include an excellent selection of cafés and restaurants, a bar café, a TV and video viewing area, live music, duty-free shopping, slot machines and an onboard camping area.
The Sea Serenade has a passenger capacity of 1,200 and a vehicle capacity of 250 and boasts similar facilities as the other two ships in the fleet. Onboard camping areas area available as well as restaurants, a café bar, disco, slot machines and gaming area, a TV and video viewing area and a duty-free shop.
All ships have good wheelchair access and have disabled facilities onboard including lifts and disabled toilets. Staff assistance is also available if required however it should be noted that prior notice is given.
Each of the ports on the route have good facilities, particularly Rhodes and Haifa. You will find restaurants and snack bars, ATM machines, shops and bureau de changes amongst other things. There is also good wheelchair access and disabled toilets.
