Trelleborg Port is located in Sweden. Every year about two million passengers will pass through Trelleborg Port making it Sweden’s largest ferry port. At Trelleborg Port you will find three ferry operators that provide passenger ferries to Europe. The port is well equipped with a kiosk that sells newspapers and a range of tasty convenience food and drinks. The port also has a money exchange booth, public telephones and a comfortable departure lounge.
TT-Line Ferries sails ferries from Trelleborg Port to Travemünde and Rostock in Germany. TT-Line uses RoPax ferries and also a Catamaran ferry especially for carrying passengers and cars. The Catamaran operated by TT-Line can reach Rostock in just under three hours.
Scandlines operates two mains routes from Trelleborg Port to Sassnitz and Rostock in Germany. On the Trelleborg-Sassnitz route there are about five departures a day taking about 3 hours, 45 minutes. The Trelleborg-Rostock route has about three departures a day taking just under six hours.
The third ferry operator is DFDS Seaways. DFDS Seaways operates ferries to Gdansk in Poland. The ferry bound for Poland leaves every two days on the Duke of Scandinavia. The ships that leave Poland stop at Trelleborg Port before continuing on to Copenhagen in Denmark.
TT-Line, Scandilines and DFDS Seaways all provide excellent onboard facilities. All of the ferry operators provide access and extra help for those with disabilities.
