TT Line is a privately owned shipping company that has been connecting passengers, cargo and freight between Sweden and Germany since 1962. What makes TT Line so spectacular and reputable goes far beyond its excellent services and supreme comforts. TT Line vessels follow a ‘green bridge’ philosophy, meaning the ships are some of the most environmentally friendly mass-transit machines in operation.
There are a number of different routes provided by TT Line. The Travemunde to Trelleborg crossing takes a little over six hours, and operates three times a day. Four different ferries are used along this route – The Peter Pan, The Robin Hood, The Nils Holgersson and the Nils Dacke.
Connections from Germany to Sweden can also be made via TT Line from Rostock to Trelleborg. The line takes about six hours to cross, and is handled by the Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. A quicker ferry service by the Delphin no longer operates with TT Line.
Boasting an array of services and facilities to make the passengers experience with TT Line a relaxing one, the Nils Holgersson, Peter Pan and the Nils Dacke ferries will undoubtedly delight. Onboard the ferries, passengers can unwind in the restaurant or cinema, workout in the fitness centre, or spend some money in the gaming room.
Environmentally sound, the Robin Hood is equipped with wave reducing technology and diesel-powered propulsion. Cabins can be found in the outer areas of the ships interior, boasting over 150 deluxe and several business class cabins. Also onboard is a self-service eatery, saunas, and a travel shop. Passengers will undoubtedly be able to relax while en route.
The Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn have a capacity of about 400 passengers, which is slightly smaller than the Peter Pan and Nils Holgersson which hold over 700. Passengers are provided with over 320 cabins, a lounge, reception, sauna, and gaming room.
